Pay for Good Grades DUE Wed., Jan. 30, 2008
Do you think students should be paid if they make good grades? In the January 28, 2008 edition of USA Today, there is an article and an editorial on this topic (3A - "Kids' good grades pay off - literally" AND 8A - "Performance Pay"). This is a controversial topic because some people support the idea, some do not. The article gives both perspectives - pro and con. Read the article and decide for yourself. Do you think paying students to make good grades is beneficial to students? Why or why not?

Sorry I not even read 3A of pay on good grade. But I guess that I am mostly agree with that because Kids can a money from parent because they did a AWESOME job in school and very focus as us! They did take a A+ or B+ . That I think about good pay on grade. If they did amazing job in schhol of education they will took high grade and take lot of money from parent by ur grade. If they did lousy job in school of education then they will take a F or D. They will take nothing money from parent. That what I think about blog on it. Sorry!
I think that is good idea. Because kids love to spend on their money. They will work hard to get paid and simple, they just doing good works in school. They should get paid. I support that idea. I do want homeless population became less. I remember when crazy tiger got all A+ in report cards. He did show off to staff and staff actually paid him all add of 60 dollars. That is good idea.
wow.. i think very good! who student interetent work math, read, writting, and more. they would give money. i want student can get money over B to +A! I wish i was hard work. but too later
I just read 3A and 8A, Wow! Most people mostly agree on pay for good grade. I am mostly agree and little negative of this. I am mostly agree on it because Pay for Kids have good grade because they did eager in class, did all homework, focus on education not bully, friends, relationship and be opitimist. They got high pay for it and they earn it. If Kids not eager and lazy and be negative person. They will jealously of kids that who earn money because they think teacher too spoiled on students but real not teacher's fault and that is their fault because they got low grade because of they become lazy and not eager in class.

Oh, YEAH I sure remember that I got all A+ on report card. That time that I was 13 year old. I sure that I was show-off to staff because staff were shock that I got all A+ because I never a all A+ in Blue Mountain Elementary Cressona. I got a all E on report card in there. My grade is different than SSSD because here have F for Failed but BMEC have E for Failed. Image that I can suffer with a E. Finally, I got all A+ in SSSD report card. Mother give me a $100 dollar to me because she proud of me to got all A+ in SSSD report card than BMEC report card. She realize that I am struggle with hearing world because I was failed all class in BMEC and I pass all class in SSSD and she know that I feel comfortable with deaf world. That why I was show- off to staff.
I did read the newspaper said that most students are trying harder work and earn their money. I think that it is okay to me. Some reason who very poor can’t afford it and need money from school.
So, I disagree that should not pay for students get good grade. No matter, never know who will buy drugs, new clothes for show off or popular and make-up things. Then they won’t save money for college just spend waste their money. If who really want learn and work harder. They can go college themselves and get a job. They will earn more pay and spend whatever they want. Mostly, High school students have a jobs off campus and that what they need money for gas, new clothes or save for college. That is for good reason to money or save it.
Do you think good idea when your or their parents to pay for you/students? I not think so. When I was cleaning in my house and good grade also. My parents never pay me. Other reason if I have travels, basketball, birthday or something like this. Of course they do pay me for this. My parents need save it money for Bill house, foods and gas. Don’t think my parent is poor. They are just middle class like us. Actually, most of United States are middle class than rich and poor. Why should waste pay for students when they get good grade? Some rich family can afford it and can pay. It is fine and that their decide.
I agree. Kids should get the money for getting good grades. Because the kids work hard and focus on the educations. The money is getting the kids to focus more on the education than being lazy. If the kids know about the money if they get good grades and they goes for it. The highest precent will come up when the kids get the good grades than before.
Kids could earn for college.

Anyway, look like everyone are completely agree with this issues. And I agree with it too. Students do deserved the money for work hard to earn good grades. The honor roll paper is nothing to me. I earn the honor roll paper, but what would I use it for? Use it for display? That is the point..
But, one things that could be happened. You earn good grades and you earn money, you can get risk of threats from bullies or someone that want to steal your money. Hm?
